Seaside Resort (their website is at http://www.seasidemb.com) is one of the attractive resort destinations on my radar right now. Seaside is an all-condominium hotel in North Myrtle Beach. In addition to all the amenities of an oceanfront resort (including a gorgeous, broad beach), Seaside also offers access to a huge variety of golf courses to play on during your vacation.
Seaside Resort offers 69 condominiums, with amenities such as fully equipped kitchens, balconies and excellent views of the beach and coast. Many of these amenities are typical of many Myrtle Beach accommodations offered by various different resorts. But Seaside is smaller than many other resorts, leading to a more private, caring and one-on-one experience. They even have a "prince/princess for a day" special (including a crown or tiara, royal clothing, etc.) that is sure to appeal to children and their parents.
The small number of condominiums also means that it can be more difficult to snag a reservation at this popular resort. Seaside thoughtfully includes an easy way to check Myrtle Beach hotel reservations at the resort directly through their own website.
Seaside promises friendly staff, well-designed, spacious condominiums with all the conveniences of home and the luxuries of a resort, free continental breakfast every morning, high-speed internet in every condo, and access to all the activities a resort town like Myrtle Beach has to offer, including shopping, live shows, theme parks, etc.
My problem is not that I don't like what a given resort has to offer. It is that after all this research, I like what pretty much every resort has to offer, and can't seem to make up my mind about which one I should go with. We realize now that whichever one we choose, we will have a wonderful vacation, but we will also always have the nagging feeling of not knowing whether it could have been better if we had chosen a different resort. Unfortunately, the summer is too short, and my job is too demanding for me to take a vacation long enough to sample every resort in Myrtle Beach. But Seaside is definitely on the A-list as of now!
