Internet With My Children

Online learning is a great way to provide positive and fun education to kids. I often use websites that have interesting and fun activities for the kids. One of our favorite websites is www.pbskids.org. They make some of their TV shows available online free and also have coloring pages and learning games. The Disney website also offers a feature called Coloring Pages. You can pick your characters and scenario to color. My kids love it and I don't have to worry about the content that may pop up.

We also use our hughes satellite often to find dinner recipes. The kids love helping out and it makes them feel like they are participating even if they don't do the cooking. Most of the time we use websites specifically from brand names that we use in our home such as Kraft foods or Pillsbury.

We spend a lot of time during the summer and holidays making crafts as a family. Disney has a great website called Family Fun that is a vast resource for everything from crafts to recipes and playtime ideas. They have a wonderful section for party planning that we use to plan birthday parties and princesses and pirates parties.

Our family loves to use the hughes net internet. It's great to live in a rural area and have access to high speed satellite internet through hughes internet in GA!
